Here are a selection of the photos from the photo shoot with Megan. This was done as part of the pre production for my Honours Project.
I prefer the look of her sitting on the stairs, this will be the pose the CG character will have in the final scene. The character will be wearing similar clothes and will have the same build as Megan.
Honours Project Time (eek!)
My project is the creation of a Photorealistic CG Character and Environment. It will be designed to look like part of a photography shoot so will be photorealistic (while trying to avoid hyper-realism). It’s a big project for the time scale but who needs sleep anyway?
Since this project is a big deal i will be posting WIPs here and on dA for critique, all input is gratefully accepted.

Internship with the National Museums of Scotland and Edinburgh Napier University.
The university was provided with point cloud data of an artifact given to them by the National Museums of Scotland. The artifact was a 17th century carving depicting the story of Hippomenes and Atalanta.
I tessellated the data, which took a lot of time as i have never done this before, so it was usable. I then created UVs and did a mock up of the known materials. The data for the materials was provided by the artifact conservators at the National Museums of Scotland. More info on this project can be found here.
The top image is the Retopo of the pointcloud data to a 3D mesh with a mock-up of the known colours.
